In America, on the fourth Thursday of every November, we celebrate Thanksgiving, or Turkey Day. Families and friends gather together around a giant turkey feast, and we each say what we are thankful for this year. It is also a time where we help people who have less than us. This year, to celebrate Thanksgiving, the American Culture Club hosted a Thanksgiving Disco at school number 6. 118 students from various schools danced the night away, and made a poster about what they were thankful for this year. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, all of the money raised will help children with disabilities. We will be buying Ded Moroz a new costume, so he can deliver presents to the children with disabilities on St. Nicolai Day. The disco was a great success, and we are looking forward to the next one!
